Len has more than 30 years of experience as a litigator in the practice areas of corporate and commercial law, partnership, real estate, employment and other business disputes. He also represents and counsels senior executives in employment matters including contract negotiations, separation agreements, termination, discrimination and compensation claims. In 2007, Len received the Award for Excellence in Commercial Brief Writing from the New York State Bar Association, Commercial and Federal Litigation Section
Since 1996, Len has maintained his own practice in Westchester and New York. In addition to his private practice, Len serves as a mediator for the U. S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and is available to provide mediation services to parties in private disputes.
Len has many ongoing relationships with lawyers and law firms around the country that call on him for advice on New York law, assistance with their New York cases, and also to represent their clients in the New York courts. He is frequently asked to provide “second opinions” on matters being handled by other lawyers. Len has served as local counsel for major corporations including an international manufacturer of medical diagnostic equipment and the manufacturer of the fastest car made in America. Len has an active practice in the Commercial Divisions in the New York City Supreme Courts, as well as in Westchester, Rockland, Orange and Putnam Counties. He is also active in New York’s federal courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts.
A member of the first class at Cardozo Law School, Len was Research Editor of its first law review. He worked at the New York City Corporation Counsel in the “Opinions and Legislation Division,” where he honed his research skills working with the labyrinthian New York City Charter and Administrative Code.
Thereafter, he worked at several prominent New York firms including Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson and Golenbock & Barrell. Later, as a partner at Davidoff & Malito, he began to develop his own business and clientele, predominantly in corporate, commercial, real estate, and employment litigation.
